In our Daily Life We Always feel the necessity of concentrating in our Study. There are few tips to study effectively in short time.
So what could be the problem between academic book and story book. So I discussed this issue with my friend. At that moment he was shocked. Because his father uses the same technic to make him study the academic book. His father used to make a story of any topic , then took the key points from the story and match it with the academic papers.
So in that day he shared me a story of one of our chapter from the book. And amazingly whole chapter was in my mind. Still after so many years maybe I can recollect that chapter.
The Morale of the story is that if we focus and train our brain than academic study is just like watching movies or reading story books. Which makes us not to forget anything even if we wanted to.
Schwab suggests practicing the following steps:
- Before you start to read a new chapter or watch a lecture, review what you already know about the topic and what you’re expecting to learn.
- As you read or listen, take additional notes about new information, such as related topics the material reminds you of or potential connections to other courses. Also note down questions you have.
- Afterward, try to summarize what you’ve learned and seek out answers to your remaining questions.
